• Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky. Everyone who has visited this destination speaks so highly of it. I am hoping to visit this site in 2026. 

• Creation Museum in Petersburg, Kentucky. This is not far from the Ark Encounter. I have also heard wonderful comments about visiting this museum. 

• Museum of the Bible in Washington, DC 

• Sight and Sound in Lancaster Pennsylvania and Branson Missouri. They reenact books of the Bible on a panoramic live stage with animals and everything. Currently playing in Pennsylvania is Noah and it is their 30th anniversary of this play. I am hoping to make a trip there in the fall if anyone would like to join me. 

• Oberammergau Passion Play  This play is a biblical drama staged every 10 years since 1634! It is held in Oberammergau, Germany.  The history of the Oberammergau Passion Play begins in 1633. In the midst of the Thirty Years’ War, after months of suffering and dying from the plague, the people of Oberammergau pledged to act out the play of the suffering, death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ once every 10 years so no one was to die of the plague anymore. The villagers were answered by God and therefore in 1634 the first Passion Play took place. The promise has been kept until today. The town is also known for its wood working and has the most beautiful manger sets and carvings. The next play will take place in 2030 and I am planning on attending. If you are interested let me know, we do have a little time to plan. ​

• Forty Forty - This is a challenge based activity where you walk a mile for 40 days and read scripture. They have different books of the Bible throughout the year.
